If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Amata MD does not store this information.

Principle 4 – Limiting Collection

Amata MD shall collect only that personal information that is reasonably necessary to process customer orders, including as required by third party service providers such as a shipping company to fulfill orders, and a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services, and health professionals to assist us in filling your orders.

Principle 5 – Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention

Amata MD shall not use or disclose personal information for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the customer, or as otherwise outlined in this privacy policy or as required by law. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at support@amatamd.co. Customer personal information will be retained as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to best serve customer health needs and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Principle 6 – Accuracy

Personal Information that is maintained by Amata MD shall be as accurate, complete, and up-to-date as is necessary for the purposes for which it is used. Amata MD shall confirm all personal information collected from customers each time goods and/or services are requested.

Principle 7 – Security Safeguards

Given the sensitive nature of the personal information collected, Amata MD shall employ generally accepted security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, and shall take steps to protect personal information against loss or theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. Upon request, Amata MD will inform a customer of the existence, use and disclosure of his/her personal information, and grant access to such information as appropriate. If for some reason, we are unable to grant access to certain information, the reasons for denying access will be provided to the customer upon request.
