Description
Cingal is an orthopedic injectable that is manufactured by Anika Therapeutics. This injectable has a cross-linked hyaluronic acid and ancillary triamcinolone hexacetonide, which helps in decreasing symptoms of pain, swelling, and inflammation brought on by osteoarthritis. This injection is a single dose regimen and is primarily used in the knee joint to relieve pain and make it easier for the joint to move. The results of using Cingal have been shown to last for up to 6 months.
