The increasing demand for less invasive but effective treatment modalities for wrinkles and skin laxity over the past few decades has given rise to the world’s first non-ablative system: Thermage. This system uses a monopolar radiofrequency current that heats targeted skin to a certain temperature to tighten said skin. Thermage Treatment Tips are used to transmit the radiofrequency produced by the Thermage system to the targeted skin, and all of these tips provide even heat distribution. Thermage devices feature a cooling unit in their respective Handpiece to regulate the skin surface temperature to minimize excess heat damage.
